Yandex Browser

Yandex Browser is a cross-platform freeware web browser that uses the Blink web browser engine and is based on Chromium. I am demonstrating it on Ubuntu MATE 18.04.4 LTS, but it will also work on Windows, Mac, and other Linux distributions.

If you are a Windows 10 user and you have the Yandex Browser installed then you may notice a message saying, "Yandex is using your microphone" and you see a small microphone icon. Don't panic, I'll show you how to prevent Yandex from using your microphone without your knowledge. Go to the link below and scroll to the bottom of the page.

Very informative video. One thing I’ve noticed is that Yandex browser opens lightening fast. Faster than almost any browser I’ve used. The notes feature in this browser is also very useful.

Tommy Thompson: I'm looking around for another browser again. The most important things for me is, it's got to be fast, and not hog up all my RAM. It's also got to work properly on the websites that I normally go to all the time. I am running Linux Mint xfce.

The Yandex Browser on Windows seems a little slower lately. It used to open up lightning fast even with background mode turned off. I don’t know if it has anything to do with current conditions. I hope they can keep it going because it’s been my favorite browser for a few years now.

when i open youtube as a windows from the browser at the top it does not adopt the theme instead it shows youtube theme in Red but if i go back to the browser it will adopt the the current theme of the settings please how to change this

I've followed this video yet some yandex sites still show up in russian how can I fix this, also there is a browser ai can I change the language if that or disable it?

Wierd browser, it looks gorgeous until I open a page, it goes back to looking like any other browser.
