Emirates Airbus A380 takeoff from Dubai International Airport (DXB)

Here's footage from a recent flight i took, EK414, from Dubai to Sydney. I got stunning views of the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, as we took off and then the pilot proceeded to circle around it as we built up altitude. The views were fantastic!

Superb sound and excellent night view! From that sound, it looks like this Emirates A380 is the new one equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent 900.

This seems like showboating. I've never before seen a commercial flight that takes off, climbs to 500 - 1, 000 feet or so within seconds, and then spends the next five minutes slowly inching up to 3, 000 feet. It seems like they were purposely staying low during that turnaround for the purpose of exhibiting to the pax the spectacle of Dubai at night.
