Awesome! I just made my own from some scrap wood, stick-on felt to protect the paint, and a plastic screw and nut from an old toilet. Worked perfectly!

I think these methods only work on later model cars that seem to be made of really thin aluminum because an older car has thicker metal and cannot be easily popped out or bent back from the inside panel. I tried to remove a dent from my 2006 ford taurus driver panel and door but came to find that the metal is very tough to move with PDR tools that i ordered off of ebay. The only PDR tool that comes in handy is the little rubber mallet with different sized ends. To get the metal to move i had to pound it with a piece of PCV pipe with a toilet bolt plastic cap taped to the end. I used a hair dryer and the afternoon sun which seem to help a little. These new cars are made out of almost all aluminium and plastic, so of course its easy to fix them.

That dent would still bother me afterwards. If I still see it afterwards just gives me more anxiety.

Ok…someone door dinged my new car.

Quote is $2050.

Dent is size of pinky nail, but chipped paint in the crease of the quarter panel where it meets the bumper. So the bumper would have to be removed, etc…..thus the cost.

I think I can do this and save money.

I wonder if warming up the area before using a tool like that would help at all.
