The most important thing anyone no matter what age is please please please take someone with you who has experience in pike fishing . They are not like carp and extremely fragile creatures and can die very easy

av got some greater sandeel in the freezer it would seem those would be excellent but i havent heard of people using them. Have you heard of people having success with greater sandeel or launce. lovely streamline bright baits.

I have a wychwood agitator for my deadbaiting, honestly the fox rods dont compare. Fox have nice terminal tackle but the rods for me are a no go.

While this is all very standard the reality is LOADS of waters over the years are now geared up for carp with a lot of lakes removing pike and day ticket waters becoming less by moving to membership only so giving anglers less scope to fish more venues.
