I was afraid when your channel showed up on my recommendations that it would be AI writing and AI narration. To any reluctant visitors, it is actually neither, and done very well, .

Who remembers the timeframe during which the show was called ”Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color?” I believe the show carried that name during the 1965-66 season.

Best description of Ed Sullivan, a man who can brighten a room by leaving it!

My God, I'm old! I remember all these shows, quite fondly I might add. Television was still magic back then. Only a few channels, all by broadcast. Yep, like every middle class boy, I had a crush on Annette. I also loved the old Amos and Andy show and I love Lucy.

I remember all of these shows. I used to like "The Millionaire". I always loved the name of the benefactor, John Beresford Tipton. Just rolls off the tongue.

There's a clip from The Jack Benny Program of him standing on a street corner at night, and a bandit comes up on him from behind, sticks a gun in his back and says, "Your money or your life." Jack puts his hand up to his face in that inimitable gesture of his, rolls his eyes and looks at the audience, breaking the fourth wall. The audience begins to laugh and the bandit says, "Hurry up." and Jack turns around, looks at him and says, "I'm thinking about it."

We never had a TV until 1964 when my father surprised us on Saturday night the night before the Beatles appeared on Ed Sullivan.
He knew how much we wanted to watch that show so he sacrificed and bought the TV

Beat the clock, Honeymooners, Romper Room, Captain Kangaroo, Captain Video, Lone Ranger, I was 4 1/2 years old but remember them. Oh yeah, the stupid daytime soaps my mother loved.

I was born in 1950…and by 1955 was already sucked in to watching any and every TV show that lit up the screen! And as another poster stated - the only show I never actually watched was 64, 000 Question - most likely because my bedtime was 10 pm, and that was the time that show aired!

My Saturday morning favs: Sky King, My Friend Flicka, The Roy Rogers Show, Captain Kangaroo, Zorro, Mighty Mouse, The Howdy Doody Show, and The Lone Ranger (Hi Oh Silver!!!). Had a crush on Annette Funicello (the most popular Mouseketeer of The Mickey Mouse Club) 😃😃😃

Watching this video brought back a lot of wonderful memories. Makes me homesick to see these old shows ... Our country and the world are so very different now - We didn't know how good we had it back in those days - We took everything for granted, just like most young people.

I remember all of them. TV then was still better than what we have today.

I was born in 1955. It’s interesting to see what my parents might have watched while awaiting my birth in December.

I was 3 and 4, but remember all but two of these shows. We watched a lot of TV. 1955 was a wonderful year for I Love Lucy. Ricardos and Mertz's went both to California and Europe. Every episode unforgettable.

It was yesterday for me. They were excellent shows, watched on a Sears Roebuck bought TV (21 inches in a big brown box, black & white), purchase as a ON SALE floor model.
