Vans introduces the Stage 4, skateboarding's first-ever vulcanized cupsole shoe design. Developed in four testing stages with Vans team riders Gilbert Crockett, Chima Ferguson, Andrew Allen and Chris Pfanner, the Stage 4 Low and Mid styles are the first to offer Vans' WAFFLECUP technology. WAFFLECUP combines the best of cupsole with its increased support and durability and the superior boardfeel and grip found in a traditional Vans vulcanized shoe.

now if vans made a suede cupsole authentic with the sole as tough as the emerica reynolds, that would sell big time

Had the mids. Like a single pannel half cab. Probably one of my favourite shoes

I had the stage 4 lows for a while. They were super nice.

This is the reason I'm wearing the pfanner mid top right now. skates AMAZINGLY. especially if you use the insole from a vans pro shoe. for example, the insoles from my halfcab pros are SO comfy. vans is doing it right nowww

Release the stage ones with a little bit more padding and they would sell for sure, such a classic looking shoe, love the metal lace loops and lack of stitching.

i still prefer the basic vans shoe... the no.1 most important thing in a skate shoe for me is endurance/longevity etc. leather upper, thick solid rubber sole, nice high rubber wrap around. yes. 2nd most imprtant is grip, 3rd it has to be reasonably flexible. but im poor, shoes are expensive and i suck at skating anyway, lol

thick sole, i always get a hole under my big toe... sucks when the rest of the shoe is still mint. my osiris shoes lasted forever, my dcs are wearing out way too fast, my vans are mint :)
