Stupid take - Resigned Kmet, traded for DJ Moore, Drafted Darnell Wright, signed Nate Davis. Poles missed but he did swing a trade for Claypool sending Steelers a 2nd rd which didn’t work. Is the offense a final product, of course not. We need more skill positions and upgrade at Center and LT, Bears were 2nd best rushing team but passing game was way to inconsistent

I guess these radio sports people have to constantly come up with something to talk about. Me, as a Bears fan I think the team is going in the right direction. Poles is light years better than Pace was and Eberflus though having made mistakes and having some flaws is a more competent true and real head coach than Nagy was. Both Pace and Nagy to me came across as con men who talked their way into jobs they were not qualified to do. Yet both of them were better received and treated by the Chicago media than the real substantial people we have now. I still remember how the media gushed over Nagy at how accessible he was and how well he talked. Later on as they knew him better they realized he was a BS artist, talking a lot of word salad. Same with Fields. I have been a Bears fan for decades and Fields is easily the most talented quarterback we have ever had. The guy is developing and improving and is only 24 years old. He has already put together some of the top highlight plays in Bears history and is often called the best athlete in the field, has high character, works hard, is mentally tough, is a leader and beloved by teammates etc. The media wants to run him out of town and gamble that a 6 foot Caleb Williams will be the deodorant that will overcome a bad pass blocking line and lack of a true NFL receivers other than DJ Moore and Kmet and horrendous offensive coaching and play calling by a play caller learning on the job. I am tired of all the negativity. The Bears are being rebuilt the right way and it's beginning to beat fruits and people want to tear it down for some reason
