San Andrés de Canoa
The Parroquia San Andrés de Canoa is located on the Pacific coast in the north of the canton of San Vicente. The main town is located by the sea 16 km north-northwest of the cantonal capital of San Vicente . The E15Manta to Esmeraldas highway passes by Canoa . The Río Briceño limits the administrative area in the south. The Rio Muchacho runs through the center of the area. The eastern administrative boundary runs along the course of the Río Mariano, a left tributary of the Río Jama . The Parroquia has an approximately 42 km long stretch of coast.
The Parroquia has an area of 386.4 km². The population in 2010 was 6887.
