Back in 69’ my sister went out with a kid who had 56’ like yours all hopped up. Probably a small block, but four speed Hurst handle and it moved out-I was 14 and impressed. I remember he was called Chic Sarro. Kind of a greaser. Great name though. He also had a 59-60 T-Bird convert which was repainted. First exposure to overspray. Sister moved on. At 68, I still have an affinity for 56’ Chevys. Living vicariously with you guys.

After you get the bolts in and the hood adjusted, you should weld the bolts to the hinges! Makes things a lot easier next time around, I love this car!!! Great job!
