This the best review of a Glarry basd on You Tube. I just got the same one and the sounds and description presented here are extremely accurate. Also, mine arrived closer to optimum adjustment than nearly any other bass I've ever bought, which I find amazing.

I have been considering picking up one of these. I used to play base back in the 70's and am considering getting back into it and this looks like a decent, affordable option.

Picked one up as my first bass and threw some Ernie balls on it and now it sound like a million bucks

Nice one, David. Looks/sounds like a pretty good starter bass.

I'm going to be modifying basses. I was going to start with washburn xb 100 and xb 200. I think have changed my mind. These would be amazing with mec or nordstrand pickups

How chunky are the necks? What would you compare them to?

..you could also get a Dan Electro bass back then too, .. and Cheap, .. a bit of a crappy bass some what, but kind of way cool in a way too, ..also Hagstrom, though not widely available in the U.S. were pretty sweet, and could be had cheaply in those days.. Harmony had a cheap bass in the late 60s that sported a DeArmond pickup that sounded Killer. 🤷 ...🏌️🍍
