Home one? that's more of a special type of capital ship, if anything it should have been the MC-80 Liberty class type of Capital ship for the Rebellion, Home One was in its own league. I don't see different types of Home Ones running around like the Imperials, the Venators and the Providences which were at least all mass produced

If you insist on the Home One, a one-of-a-kind Rebel alliance ship, then we might as well use the Executor, Malevolence and Pride of the Core for the other factions.

I'm confused. You used the standard Providence Class Carrier for the Separatists, instead of using one of its variants, but instead of using the more common MC-80 Liberty for the Rebel Alliance, you used the modified Home One?

You used the Home One for the rebels but standard ships for the other factions? That's very biased of you. If you used Admiral Trenches Invincible the turnout for your winner would have been much different and more in favor of the Separatists.

I can't take Imperial Star Destroyers seriously after they keep being casually blown up in _Rebels._ I'm a fan of the show, but that particularly bugs me.

I feel bias here. I thought the Providence was going to be at least in the top 2... You also didnt mention the power generation issues coming from the MC80 as a retrofitted civilian ship. It wasnt designed as a purpose built warship. Also you tell me a tri-fighter isnt as good as any organic piloted starfighter(no jedi). And a side point...I looked at the scale of the Venator, can you really squeeze ~450 fighters and bombers/shuttles in there? Considering the depictions of the hangar, I cannot trust that number to be accurate. It would be more like half that number

Sorry boss, but I have to call bull on this one. You used standard line ships for the other three factions; but for the rebels you use the one off flag ship and not the more numerous Liberty. I think the comparison might have come out different had you done that. I'm not a big commentor type, had to call you out on this one. Anyway happy new year and keep the content coming.

There is no "perfect" capital ship. Every ship represents the best and worst of its designers... culture. The Imperial Star Destroyer is exemplary in firepower but has a exposed bridge. The MC80 had great shielding but couldn't match its counter parts in firepower. Shall I go on?

Edit: If we are including the new trilogy the Resurgent Class is probably the closest you can get to "perfect".

I've always figured that in a one on one fight a venator would be able to destroy an ISD with minimal damage because of the amount of star fighters it carries. Let's imagine a scenario, in open space an ISD and a venator come in contact, if the venator can launch all its fighters while either keeping it's distance from the ISD or maneuvering itself into an area where it can't be fully engaged (the ISD's stern or underbelly) then it's basically a guarantied win. The tie fighters will be massacred by the superior and more numerous republic star fighters, then the ISD will be out of fighters and with no point defense system, and will be helpless to stop the venator's y-wings and arc-170s.

Thoughts anyone?

I'm surprised that you didn't use the Lucrehulk-class Droid Control Ship as a capital ship for the CIS. That one would've made the CIS faction come higher.

I find the providence to be way better than any other capital ship, but the CIS generally has the best fleet I think

The laser in the hangar is also present in Star Wars Battlefront II on a few occasions so I would say it is not uncommon but is also not used too widely

The Venator is the best ship for the war it participated in. In the clone wars, there was a heavy focus on starfighters, which is why the frontline ships of the time had a large starfighter complement. The MC80 is heavily shielded and armored because in that war there was more of a focus of duking it out between the two factions. So despite having fewer weapons, it could take a beating while letting it's snub fighters take out the star destroyer. So it becomes very hard to compare these four factions because they are set to specialize in different wars.

One thing you always ignore are the costs it is a difference if you could send 3 venator(50.000.000 kredits) stardestroyer or 1 imperial 2 stardestroyer(145.000.000 kredits) in a battle. Or the crew you need to opperate it.
