Hey man, this is my video. You can find the full 10+ minute vid with more context included on my channel. Love that you credited LeBron Factory in the descripion, but they originally took all this footage from me. Would love it if you could link my original vid in the description 👍

I was here. I was the 23 year old referee wit the "kobe fro" I worked both days of the ABCD. I spent the whole video looking for myself and people I worked with

Lebron is the most hyped players coming out of high school ever. At this point it's more than fair to say that he has lived up way beyond that hype. HE THAN DUDE

I'm glad LeBron made it and succeeded. Not only that, he took care of his mom, his friends and his entire community!

Crazy that LeBron really been that guy from that moment on.... 22 to be in the spotlight and expected to be great and anything less is considered massive failure is mind boggling to think about. In his 38 years he's been under a microscope and judged by the world for 22 of them. And I don't think he's disappointed us

Really don't like AAU, but it is part of big time basketball. I remember a guy telling me of LeBron James. Commented that he was literally a man playing against little boys. Told me it was the most amazing thing he'd ever seen. And he went on to live up to all this hype placed upon him at 16 years old. Incredible.

I actually saw this video back in the day. Rick Pitino, gotta give him credit, called it. He said that there are definitely some great players here, but there is one here that if he continues on the same path will be great (Talking about LeBron). Lesson here kids is that you need to stay level headed, stay humble, keep your circle small, keep the bums away from your circle, focus on being a professional.

The last time a basketball player didn’t know Lebron James name

The amazing thing is LeBron did not lose his mind no matter how much money came his way. He should go into every sports hall of fame just for staying completely sane.

The player Lebron is talking to at 0:25 is Lenny Cooke. He was actually the #2 ranked high school player in the country at that camp ahead of Lebron (Melo was ranked #1). He was projected by several sources to be a sure 1st round draft pick out of high school but due to a reported attitude and work ethic problem, he went undrafted, revoking his college eligibility in the process. He accepted a 350k advance from an agent to represent him for the draft during his senior year, leading many to believe the main cause for his attitude problem as he acted as though he already made it and could do whatever he pleased. He played in the D league and the Celtics summer league team before finishing out his career overseas. Truly a sad story as he had the skills and potential to be great.

Craziest part about this is that LeBron led the state in receiving touchdowns the year before and then quit football. He would have broke all of the nfl receiving records if he stuck with football, there’s no doubt. I worked for the Orlando magic for a decade and one of my co-workers graduated from SVSM with him. So whenever Cleveland would play us(we had some heated playoff games) LeBron would make time to talk to and hang out with us. Once he was lifting weights but not really lifting, just kinda seeing how much he could lift. He put 315 on the bar and benched it 10x like it was 150 lbs.

To this day, I believe there is no better athlete in the world than a SG or SF in the NBA.

Hes just was bigger, stronger, AND faster than EVERYONE else.

I went back and looked at my stats from this camp.Suprisingly ( which I didn't remember) Kendrick Perkins was one of the top 3 players ( rated stat wise over Lebron). He led the camp in rebounding and also had a 29 pt game. The local Jersey paper sang his praises

That Kid with the nappy Afro, is now the King with the NBA Scoring title, never was the biggest Lebron fan, but I respect his work ethic and can’t deny his stats and what he’s done for the league

LeBron was not discovered at ABCD. Everyone knew he was going into the camp which is why the LeBron vs Lenny game was probably the most hyped camp game ever. I remember being there and there were 4 games going on and the only people watching the other 3 games were the parents of kids in those 3 games.
