Garnet-muscovite schist under the scope

The first part is a kinked quartz-muscovite schist at 4x under plain polarized light, then cross-polarized light. The second one is a biotite-muscovite schist, first under plain polarized, then crossed polarized, and lastly with the gypsum plate inserted (because it looks cool). Note that the biotite is the darker mica which changes color, then muscovite is colorless. You can see a large garnet when I turn the second one, which is the large black blob when the polars are crossed.
