I love the musketeers. Their normal attacks are garbage and their real strength lies in their abilities. The headshot ability ignores armor and their explosion works like an artillery shot and ignores half armor making them work well against all resistance types. The explosion move does like 100-600 damage which oneshots even mid tier enemies. They are probably the best tower in the game vs the yetis since they can keep them from even reaching your other towers with just a couple of them.

Muskeeteers for late game, rangers for early game, with the "salvage" upgrade, during late game, I usually sell my rangers and build muskeeteers instead, especially on the salegraz level, the instakill ability and the fricking big damage takes the sons down really fast.

Honestly the pseudo-artillery-fire of musketeers is freaking amazing. They tear through high hp enemies like it's nothing, which is the ranger's hideout's biggest weakness. Also headshots but I dont like them as much

Both are very good. Poison damage is true damage and wrath of the forest does good stalling power while keeping a good damage which is consistently used. Unfortunately the ability cannot reach flying. With Musketeers, shrapnel has higher area of explosion damage while being able to take accurate shots that have a chance of instant-kill.

Your intro is really good looking! Did you made it yourself? And as far as the comparison goes it was pretty accurate. In my opinion the Rangers are more standalone tower while the Musketeers need some support in order to achieve their true potential .

Nerfs, buffs and balance is always the issue here. If they nerfed heroes, they should buffs towers. Vice versa, and it should be a signifcant buffs. Mobile version gets us limited heroes so they should buffs the stats twice as much. I assume that Rangers do well against, rush enemies. Musketeers only do well against single entities, even then they rely on luck. I wouldn't upgrade the Shrapnel shots though. Clearing clusters is the right job for artillery.

Actually Muskeeter garrison is perfect for bigger and stronger enemy than ranger

Sniper shot is good for high hp non-boss enemies (yetis, elementals, forest trolls, the tree guys in rotten forest, etc), actually, Musketer is basically garbage without upgrades, while rangers are good for crowds of enemies and armored enemies (with poison).

For support I find rangers better
Mainly cause they attack faster
But musketeers instant kill is really useful too

Nah mate. Proved fact that with at least 4 musketeer towers fully upgraded any stage is passable. With various towers it’s shot after shot after shot. Musketeers better in number, rangers are good as a single tower.

Rangers offer a more consistent source of physical damage and Wrath of the Forest gives them killer stalling power, but it’s better to have at least a few. Musketeers have some serious potential and arguably the best single target capabilities, but that potential costs a pretty penny. Both are pretty good, but WotF is so strong that I’d say the Ranger are better overall. Even still, Musketeers don’t fall behind too far, and are some of the best boss killers. I’d say it’s pretty balanced between the two.
