In this video, I’m walking from Cote-Des-Neiges to Mount Royal Park. I start near the metro station; I also stop by at St Joseph Oratory and then head up to Mount Royal. People usually prefer to take Remembrance Road, but I prefer to take Hill Park Circle for much better scenery. Video recorded on Wednesday, January 05, 2021 at 11:00 am.

One of the liveliest neighbourhoods in Mtl. Especially where you started, between, let's say, Quenn Mary and Côte-Sainte-Catherine and maybe a bit farther up. Grocery store, drugstore open 24/7! Fruit merchant on Vincent d'Indy also, if memory serves. On the other side, it's indeed so beautiful. The cimetary and the the chemin Camilien Houde in the mountain. My daughter and I would walk around there for hours, from time to time. Wow! I used to take bus 11 from the Plateau to Ridgewood often, one way and the other, right through the mountain. I'm not sure it still exists. Anyways, another great vid. Thank you, G!

Thanks again German! This is a beautiful area to walk, especially the route you chose. Maybe one day you can do Mount Royal Cemetery or a walk around the Cross of Mount Royal.

Ah ! Beaver Lake or Lac aux Castors, one of my favourite parts of Montreal in winter or summer. Tried to skate here fifty-four years ago, unsuccessfully ! Kept losing my balance. Snow and ice are rare in Ireland ! Great fun though ! Those were the days ...

What are the buildings on the far side at 19.10, I’m intrigued . 🤔 These walks are so enjoyable, especially being indoors for such a long time this past two years. 👌🏼
