This is an 80 year old man and his wife. How traumatic for them. They are here building up the community. They have nothing but positive energy and goodwill that have made a difference in North City. I have volunteered in their community garden and in a building they renovated to provide housing for people coming out of jail. They are building a program of doulas to help pregnant mothers. There are now 2 beautiful murals in the garden and new basketball court for the youth. Uhuru is building up the community while the FBI is breaking down their doors. Ridiculous. The FBI could have asked to see their files in broad daylight. NOt have to resort to these terror tactics. Uhuru is a non-profit organization that works with other community agencies. This did not have to happen.

Reparations aren't a check for me. That's like asking me can we kill and harass your relatives, and how much money would you want? Or even like in real life, do it anyway then we learn what happened and folks say screw you it wasn't us. We say we found what companies benefitted from our demolished ancestors. Make us SHAREHOLDERS receiving high wages for generations. To assist me, as I don't think like other blacks on this reparations thing. For companies that benefitted from slavery, the descendants should be shareholders. Who are the DESCENDANTS of slaves? Any blacks with a European SURNAME born anywhere and were there in the first place because of slavery, not an AIRPLANE ticket. Blacks deserve 400yrs of what their ancestors didn't get simply from fairness this should be done.
