In this episode, I interviewed Maj Toure: a political activist, rapper and community leader. Toure is an outspoken Libertarian who ran for city council in 2019 and has traveled the country visiting inner cities advocating for citizens 2nd amendment rights and education for underprivileged communities. I found Toure through social media and got connected with him through a mutual belief: the truth matters. Maj has been featured on countless talk shows and televised news networks primarily for speaking out against the Black Lives Matter campaign - agreeing that Black Lives of course matter but grilling the organization and fundraising for their lack of resource allocation for the community they claim to serve. Through community donation and relentless outreach, Toure has fundraised over 6-figures to secure ownership over a physical location in Philadelphia where he hosts free classes for the community on firearms instruction, finance, homeschooling, self-defense & essential skills that help people in his immediate community. Although our backgrounds and opinions on specific matters might be different, this episode was primarily focused on facts rather than heated opinions, allowing for a long form look into how Toure sees the world and what his focus is for the future. I'm not going to lie - the man is a force and I'm excited to see the buttons he continues to push in public eye. What I appreciate most about Toure is his ability to remain open-minded and focus on the facts. We discuss: racism, police brutality, firearms, government, the founding fathers, the constitution, his political future and much more in this episode! I might just have to go check out his spot in Philly and show my support to the growing community he is a part of in Pennsylvania. Hope you enjoy this episode! We'll be back on Monday with CeCe & Jeff.

Patriotism is loving, respecting and supporting your country all the time and your government only when it deserves it.

So far in my life time, I haven’t seen our government deserves anything but contempt!

You can’t forget some people’s family is literally alive telling you some of the most wickedness they’ve experienced while racism was rampant and not something used to cancel someone

Moving forward involves both sides moving forward. If we are moving forward, then their is no need for this conversation. Truth is we not moving forward. Instead we are trying to make a current generation pay for the mistakes of their ancestors and trying to make current blacks be rewarded for the labor of their ancestors. If we are going to move forward then lets actually do it

Couldn't the inverse be said about maximizing the effect of slavery?

I wasn't a slave I was not born black a hundred years ago either though and even my Irish roots were slaves to the English at one point in time it's a bad situation but as an American I would not want to live anywhere else but also as an American I tried to evolve the past is the past I'm not saying it was right or that we should forget about it stop tearing down memorials even if they were for bad things that's history and we need to learn about history cuz young people now just think that because they're black that everybody hates them and that's not true they may have it a little harder and they may not always be treated as well I don't underestimate that but as far as that community they need to stop the dumb s*** that they do and I love everybody don't get me wrong I have the black woman change a tire out of her car today I helped a young black brother out the other day to fix his bicycle I don't see people as color no one should we all just need to get over the past and learn from it and let the history live on as a memory to what we wont return to

Can’t move forward if only one sides trying too. A good portion of us alive today weren’t around for Jim Crowe and none of us were alive for slavery. At sone point we need to put our big boy pants on and move the fuck on
