Welding a tarantula sculpture

I was commissioned to make this tarantula out of steel. I used a ball hitch and large nut as a starting point and went on from there. The legs are from a piano sound board.

Joshua, the leg joints you manufactured and then assembled into an action figure made of steel are what 'makes' your sculpture so SCARY real! You picked up a door knob and out came ART! Incredible work! And, as is often the case with your creations, your accompanying music spikes at just the right sparks making it practically impossible to look away in case I miss something! Great camera angles! : )

There may be some welders who winch when they see your welds however, I love your welds! They give your work great character and dimension!
I learned welding in art school. My professor was Johann Eyefells, a famous Icelandic sculptor. Brillant visionary.
