We take a look at the ERDL camouflage tropical combat coat or jacket as some people call it. in this video we look at a 1968 fourth pattern example these was used in the Vietnam war by the US military, They were introduced by the United States Army for Recon type of troops first, as they become more available the United States Marine Corps began to issue them to their Marines in late 1968 & early 1969, also in 1969 certain army line infantry companies receive them also.

That jacket is actually the "green" dominant variant as the light green is prevalent throughout the camouflage pattern. Love the videos!

This is the green dominant variant. The brown dominant pattern has a tan background color, this has the green background. Great detail on the versions!
