lyrics:
This is the place
Sit down, you’re safe now
You’ve been stuck in a lift
We’ve been trying to reach you, Thom
This is the place
It won’t hurt ever again

The smell of air conditioning
The fish are belly up
Empty all your pockets
Because it’s time to come home

This is the place
Remember me? I’m the face you always see
You’ve been stuck in a lift
In the belly of a whale at the bottom of the ocean

The smell of air conditioning
The fish are belly up
Empty all your pockets
Because it’s time to come home
The smell of air conditioning
The fish are belly up
Ah, let it go

Today is the first day
Of the rest of your days
So lighten up, squirt

This theme is an elevator of emotions, an elevator of illusions, an elevator of a life where one can go up or down according to their own decisions. It is a theme that marks the good from the bad.

Great post's, unbelievably good song, simple to play on guitar but to play like these guy's do is a whole other level entirely.

I played in a tribute act to Radiohead for a while, i really appreciate their craft.
Each of them are so unique in their own right, truly a legendary collaboration, i feel privileged to have seen them live and been lucky enough to play some of their beautiful song's.
Very humbling experience, i feel Radiohead themselves are humble with a very humanitarian and philanthropic narrative to their music.

Reflecting their surroundings i suppose.

To the four people that down voted. May your life be pathetic and lonely. Definitely already is.

When Radiohead still made music that didn’t make you want to jump off a bridge.
