I see that the price and moddability will be the 2 main factors how well Switch will sell. If that thing was a semi-open platform that I could use as an Android tablet or better yet run a virtual Windows/Linux on it, it would explode among pc community. Even if someone just managed to crack it, Switch would be the greatest game console ever made.

would be cool if there is a second GPU in the docking station, so that the system could run SLI when docked and single GPU when mobile.

I'm hyped AF this actually excites me unlike the PS4 Pro or the Scorpio.

Wonder how powerful it is compared with the other consoles, that would be a key factor for ports.

Hoping this does in fact run on a Pascal. That would bring it closer to an XB1 and even just getting close to that amount of power in a hand held is amazing. I'm assuming when it's docked it will run full clock and games will render at 900p-1080p. When it's portable it down clocks and runs in 720p to retain performance and match screen resolution. Speculation is fun. Can't wait for January

Is there a touch screen on it? Looked like either there wasn't or they just didn't care to show it. It would make sense so they can cut costs but I wonder if there would be much of a backlash from not having it.

Are you positive it's the Pascal and not the newer Xavier Tegra that Nvidia announced last month? Specs for both are available on wikipedia if you search for Tegra. Pascal only 256 cuda cores, and Xavier doubles it with capabilities to output in 8k video. Insane.

Could you explain what exactly Unified Memory is and what it could mean for the Switch? Is it like AMD's APUs and their shared system memory?

In 4:46 did you say "faked"? Because the d-pad is changed because when you play 2-player local one player are using the d-pad as buttons is my guess? But maybe I just heard wrong...

how hard would it be to have a gpu in the docking station and connect the tablet with a simialer port to a pci.
