People seem to have a strong preference for either “Normal Poeple” or “Conversations with Friends”. I haven’t read conversations with friends but I going to get to it as soon as I can. I loved Normal People so much that I can’t seem myself preferring “Conversations with Friends” but II love Sally Rooney’s writing so much that I can’t wait to read it.

You’re right- Lorraine is awesome! The character who I relate to the most is Connell though he is definitely very flawed.

You’re right in saying that there are so many situations in the book that are recognizable. She does an excellent job of observing some of the awkward realities of university life.

This review was so so good! I thoroughly enjoyed watching it and how yo analysed the text and characters in a really relatable way. Have you read Sally Rooney's novella Mr Salary? I also loved that.
