Hi Deanna! Always LOVE your crafts. I make a kid’s version of the Blind Date With A Book, but call mine, Under Cover Book. ( like kids read under the covers) I put a pack of hot cocoa, a pencil, 2 stickers, and 2 book marks and a finger light with them. ( I get the finger lights at Hobby Lobby in the party section). I also put the age group for the kids’ book on the front. Mine have sold like crazy! Since I did a Christmas craft show today I stuck a candy cane in mine too. Keep crafting cause I love to make your stuff! Thanks so much!!

Love this way of decorating these. I’m doing this at my library for February, and really wanted to make them super cute this year. Probably won’t have as many goodies as you do (cause budget) but I love the little simple touches like the fake flower sprigs and the drawn on “stiches” across the pocket edges. I was bummed about having to use craft paper to wrap things instead of fancy wrapping paper, but blank paper is really just a blank canvas for decorating. I’m guess my mom’s scrapbooking/crafty genes might finally be starting to activate 😅 Love the video.

Well, you’ve worked your heart and soul out. If you are a sports fan, I would say you left it all on the field, which is a compliment. That means you gave your very best. We have learned so much from you and you sharing your crafts as you made them pointing out where were the pitfalls and where were the things that we needed to look out for and where the things that went together so smoothly. All sorts of wisdom, a little bit of trial and error but the absolute best in everything. I don’t know how you’re not gonna knock them dead you have everything anyone could want. As I’ve told you in the past, I have family in Texas although less this year than last as my daughter has relocated to Arkansas, she’s a lawyer for Walmart and the mothership called her home, but my son is still there. It would give me a very good reason to come and see this craft fair. Unfortunately, it’s not something I can do right now. I am still under Doctor’s orders.❤ wishing you the absolutely best of luck. But I don’t think you’re going to need it because you produced it. I’ll be thinking about you next Saturday. I hope it is a bright sunny day not windy and there is a very very good crowd.

You have such a nice touch with everything you do! You said these weren’t perfect, but they look pretty perfect to me! I think “blind date with a book” is such a fun idea! I bought that paper from Amazon, too (red, for mailing Christmas gifts), and it was so thick that I could barely fold it. Can’t complain about the quality, though! 😊

I'm doing this For my grandson, I'm giving him a blanket and bookmarks. And hot chocolate pack and Candy cane. I'm gonna stuff that all inside. The blanket is his favorite football team.So it's gonna be a cozy thing for him this year.That's the way I made it when I saw this from someone else had made it.I said oh I think I can do that with his book. And just make it a cozy theme. It's cold here and it's going to be cold for a while.So I thought making it a cozy thing for him.He's in middle school and I thought this would be a good idea for him.When I saw it and then when I saw you make yours?I said I can do this for sure. I wish you all the best at your fair.Your craft fair I know you're gonna do well because you made some outstanding projects.
