For Sale at Coyote Classics is this Pristine 1964 Cadillac Series 62
Right here is something you definitely don't see too often. This 1964 Cadillac Series 62 is in absolutely fantastic shape inside and out, with gleaming "Firemist Blue" metallic paint and a plethora of options befitting of only the best of 1960s luxury. With air conditioning, soundproofing, power antenna and a number of other factory options, this Cadillac is not only the perfect cruiser but also something that is sure to turn heads up and down the street, at over 18 and a half feet long. 1964 was to be the final year of the Series 62, which had been in production since 1940. "Comfort Control", an industry-first automatic heating and air conditioning system was also introduced new in '64, controlled by a dial on the dashboard. This was also the last year prominent tail fins were offered on Cadillacs! Powered by a monstrous, new for 1964 429 C.I. V8, this 1964 Cadillac isn't lacking for power despite its large dimensions! Power from the 429 gets to the rear end through a 3-speed, column shifted automatic that shifts seamlessly and provides smooth and linear acceleration. The stunning "Firemist Blue" metallic paint shines brilliantly over a laser-straight body, and the interior, with its options, is as comfortable as a big Cadillac should be. That is to say, riding in this big Cadillac feels like floating on a cloud! Fitted with a variety of factory options, this Series 62 has air conditioning, a working AM pushbutton radio, a working power antenna, power steering, power brakes, power adjustable bench seats, a remote mirror, a working factory radio "station seeker", reading lights, courtesy interior lights, factory gauges, vent windows, hood-mounted turn signals, and a great-sounding exhaust system. The car rides on a stunning set of factory-style wheels with hubcaps on top of some BF Goodrich "Silvertown" whitewall tires, which really completes this Cadillac's look. This 1964 Cadillac is on our lot right now waiting for its next owner, and if you're looking for a big, powerful cruiser with a lot of style, it doesn't get much better than this '64 Series 62.

From 61-67 Cadillac & the suicide door Lincoln were the epitome of class & luxury. They were downsize from the late 50 models. That color & a champagne beige metallic r best colors for me. That is one hell of a fine example..Love it!!!!

One other extra cost option you didn't mention is the low-C note Eldorado horn. I still have the accessory book from my 1964 four window Sedan deVille. It states " ADD THE LOW-C NOTE OF AN ELDORADO HORN TO THE REGULAR HORNS PROVIDED ON YOUR CADILLAC, AND THE RESULT IS A HARMONIOUS, DEEP-TONED SIGNAL OF UNUSUAL DISTINCTION. IT IS MELODIOUS, COMPELLING, AUTHORITATIVE." This a beautiful car from any angle. It's state of preservation is hard to believe it is so perfect. A real time capsule!!!

Best year for Cadillac ever! I owned the 64’ Fleetwood and after 30 plus cars I’d still enjoy the 64’ series Best! Hang onto it!

My pops had one of these when I was a kid. It was yellow like a banana. I had nicknamed it the banana boat. Haha

Beautiful motorcar. Cadillac was beginning scale down the fins which brought it into better proportion all the way around.

Great survivor car, my favorite year Cadillac, but gotta love how they didn’t do enough research on the car to correctly state the transmission is a 4-speed Hydramatic (3-speed Turbo Hydramatic 400 which debuted in Cadillacs in 1964 were only available in DeVilles, Fleetwoods, and Eldorados). Base Series 62 cars used the older transmission to clear out inventory. Also love how they insinuate the radio is am-fm when it is only am. Hope the new owner also verified the AC/heating/defrosting system worked, as they virtually never do fully without significant repairs/investment first. Maybe this was an exception. Would have liked to see what the undercarriage looked like before they slathered it in new undercoating too. Hope it’s serving the new owner well after getting marked up at the hands of these guys.

This Cadillac Series 62 coupe was purchased by the original owner from Warren L Langwith Cadillac-Pontiac in August 1964 and features its original paint and interior. This is not a restoration, it is largely original inside and out and still looks show room fresh. It was purchased by the second owner in 2018 with only 19, 500 miles on the odometer. After sitting for many years in storage, the second owner got the Caddy road ready with a professional rebuild of the original Rochester Q-Jet carburetor, a new fuel sending unit, a new muffler, a new master cylinder, a new water pump, a new radiator and hoses, a new high pressure power steering hose, new front shocks, a rebuild of the starter, added grease zerks to the ball joints, a rebuild of the power seat transmission, new front seat protective plastic covering, new OEM style floor mats and new BF Goodrich Silvertown tires. The Cadillac has been driven to many car shows through out Iowa and has won numerous awards. Is is a reliable driver capable of long haul road trips if the new owner so desires. Several items of original documentation are included with this Cadillac including original owners manual, the original purchase order forms and a copy of the original Iowa title. The Caddy receives compliments and turns head wherever it goes and would be an outstanding addition to any car guy or gals collection!
