Not really convinced...Jesus had to descend into hades because he died as a man but hades could not hold Him. He defeated death hence having authority over death and hades before he ascended to heaven as the bible clearly indicates...the reference to the holy spirit preaching in Noah's times just implies that Jesus and the holy spirit are one and existed since the beginning, just like the bible says Christ revealed to Abraham salvation(Gospel) and Abraham believed WITHOUT SEEING, meaning others died without witnessing the gospel(Christs sacrifice) thus it makes sense that Christ would minister to them when he descended and no wonder some of the dead came back to life when Jesus died.

Wait, what?!?! Those under the earth (Sheol) will do what?! Bow and confess that Jesus is Lord. Conscientiously participating in bowing and declaring Jesus’s lordship over all.

No your right Jesus Christ did not preach to sinners in hell (Hades) he preached to the fallen angels that were in hell (Tarterus) the fallen angels that God casted to hell long ago during the time of Noah as these where the angels that had sex with the mortal women and produced nephilim (giants) and therefore as punishment God sent these fallen angels to hell (Tarterus). But Jesus Christ did in fact preach to those fallen angels in Tarterus to let them know that he won the battle against Satan and therefore the kingdom of darkness as a whole lost the battle, so Jesus Christ did preach to those fallen angels in hell but it was a sermon on eternal condemnation (that because Jesus Christ won the battle against the Satan and his entire kingdom of darkness that in the distant future they would be thrown into the lake of fire) and not a sermon on salvation or eternal hope.

Jesus went to the paradise section of Hell called Abraham's Bosom. He set the Old Testament Saints free to go to Heaven.

The gospel being preached to the dead is talking about preaching to living people.
We are all born spiritually dead.

Great video! I agree with everything that you said. Those who are now deceased have had the opportunity to hear the gospel when they were alive. The dead can not receive the gospel according to the Bible.

Isaiah 38:
18 For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: *they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.*

Whoah!!! Way off!! Scripture tells us that Sheol is the place ALL THE DEAD go & is divided between the righteous & the wicked. Isaiah 14 prophecies how Satan in the future will be sent to Sheol/theAbyss. Notice that those there approach him & speak to him at his arrival: “The realm of the dead below is all astir
to meet you at your coming;
it rouses the spirits of the departed to greet you—
all those who were leaders in the world;
it makes them rise from their thrones—
all those who were kings over the nations.
They will all respond,
they will say to you,
“You also have become weak, as we are;
you have become like us.”
All your pomp has been brought down to the grave,
along with the noise of your harps;”

There are ton of verses to disprove your position on this matter but unfortunately here is not enough room to debate it.

First the word sheol in hebrew means "The Grave", not hell. Nowhere in Genesis does it mention Yahweh creating hell! Second in peter the proper translation is the prisoners in hadaes are the giants the are in prisoned until before His return where they are released as mentioned in revelations. Also in psalms 105 it's says the dead can not praise Him, because the dead are asleep and unconscious not living in heaven. Second ecclesiastes 9:5 the dead are unconscious and know nothing of this world. And 1 thessalonians. The dead are asleep awaiting the 1st or second resurrection depending on which one they are apart of.

Yup, David is not in Heaven but awaiting the RESURRECTION.

The Hall of Faith of Hebrews 11…they are not in Heaven but awaiting to join us in the future RESURRECTION.

“These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.” Hebrews 11:39-40

They still have not attained to the Promise but are waiting for the RESURRECTION at Christ’s return.

Lord I know you have a purpose for me. Even though at times I do not understand. I have complete trust in you Heavenly Father. Being a single mom with two children with special needs is overwhelming at times. Every month is a struggle to get by.
