I love how that guy at the beginning screams "SLAYERRRR!!", and then he goes on to play this amazing Latin thing.
He's much more than a metal drummer, that's for sure.

To anyone insulting Gerry Nestler (the other guitarist, he's from Philm with Dave), could you do better or even imagine being on stage trying to play "Raining Blood" with them AND sing while also having to deal with your nerves?! Man, that takes some skill.

I love Dave's work and find his playing in Slayer (and Metallica that one time!) mesmerizing and otherworldly. It's interesting to me how he's way more amped up for the Latin Jazz ensemble than I'm used to seeing him when playing full on, aggressive thrash (so relaxed and fluid), which he is a pioneer of on his instrument. Reign in Drums, Dave ❤ 🤟🏾

Dave Lombardo is a class act his ego has never been bigger than himself. hes always just been a very humble person that's what I love about the guy. He Is a real professional but at the same time hes very personable, Just like one of the dudes you hang out with. He knows where he came from (cuba), and he is so grateful to be where he is at, and always shows so much appreciation to his fans. He gives it everything he's got everytime he gets behind the kit. Dave Lombardo rules🤘
