Patching Steps:
19c Oracle Home Patching Steps:
Patch 32545008 - GI
Patch 32545013 - DB
Patch 32399816 - OJVM
Patch 32578972 - DB+OJVM

1) Stop DB Home as root user
2) grant permision on patch directory as root user
3) As oracle user do prechks
- Conflict pre checks:
- system space prechk:
4) Apply Patch:
5) Post verification
6) Start ORACLE_HOME as root user

Database Patching:
1) Do database prechks
2) Run the datapatch
3) Run the database post steps

How to run the ./datapatch -verbose in single pdb

This session was so useful and thanks for the practical session.
One small request, could you please increase the font size and your voice going forward.Bcoz it is difficult to hear your voice and read the characters too.

Hi,
I have one question.
After applying Bundel Patch and OJVM patch, should we need to apply the datapatch in Upgrade mode ?
Or if we apply the datapatch in Normal mode, will it work ?

Basically we have more than 50 dbs in single Oracle home. So, if we need to apply the datapatch in Upgrade mode, it will increase the downtime . But if we can apply the datapatch in normal mode, we can deliver the env to Application team after applying the BP and OJVM to Oracle Home. Here required downtime will be less . We will apply datapatch in normal mode from backend.
Please suggest us.
