Great tips and tricks. Love the doubled sided fabric tape idea. When travelling light and my shirt gets creased I take a shower, then hang the shirts on a hanger with the bathroom door closed. Voila! Job done.

That collar thing is slick. I need one — the floppy placket is the bane of my fashion existence.

I decided to get the slick collar following your recommendation a few years back, and it has truly lived up to all your praises. It's a constant companion for me, working seamlessly every time. I truly appreciate your suggestion.

John, simple solution to avoid deodorant marks on a pull-over shirt. Put deodorant on with or without powder. Before putting the shirt on, just roll up the bottom of the shirt a few times to make a "cuff". Now when you pull over the shirt, only the inside of the shirt will rub against the deodorant. No marks on the outside! Try it.

Great suggestions. The kind of gentlemen's classy advice we've seemed to have lost.

Fun video. I recently put a monochrome ensemble together in blue. Blue jeans, a nice medium blue polo, blue belt and blue sneakers to finish it out. I also recently found a few pairs of darker blue jeans that would look really nice, but they are a couple of inches too long, so now I'm going to see if I can take them to be hemmed.

Hi John! I apologize for a very long absence. Months ago I had undiagnosed walking pneumonia and I fell into the habit of not watching much if anything. I'm 100% now and totally committed to your videos once more. Because of you I did purchase the slick collar and I use it when needed. Liked the double-sided tape idea and the insoles from sneakers to uncomfortable shoes is brilliant. Thank you! It's so good to be watching your videos again. Best to you!

I use Slick Collar on limp collars. I like it. For me, I use the sandwich method a lot also. Since I don't have a left arm functioning right now, I can't pull a t-shirt over my head so I have button-down shirts. The shirt then coordinates with the shoes which usually have denim jeans or shorts between

The soles for the shoes are very useful, especially if you also wear shoes for work. Is way more comfortable.

A little trick from Cadets (as we used to get told off a lot for having those shoulder bumps due to using those thin metal coat hangers or the thin plastic ones) Wrap the ends of the coat hanger with a tea towel, one at each end to pad out the thin part, I even saw a Cadet use 2 toilet roll tubes slotted on each end of the coat hanger. I have never tried that method but it really worked.

T shirts or knit shirt I use thin felt coated hangers and I don't have isolated stretching issues. The wooden ones like yours I used for coats n jackets. I also hang many of my pants and imo the best pants hangers are the 4 clip Kilt hangers for the expensive pants the not so expensive ones I use the 2 clip wooden ones. The wide wooden hangers are great but when you have 100+ shirts hanging up they just use up too much room. For wrinkled shirt I hang them up and spray them and get them wet so gravity helps pull out the wrinkles . I also give them a hard shake like a rug a few times and this seems to work pretty well on my linnen shirts.

I remember you stating turning your hangers around and totally forgot about that. Going to go do that for my summer work-wear right now. Thanks for the reminder!
