Watching Becky grow up on this channel has been a wonderful experience. She has grown into a wonderful, confident person in the kitchen. Ive learned so much from her. The one thing that has never changed is that she is loving and kind, always. Josh has grown up in front of us also. He has always been kind and helpful to Becky. What a beautiful couple. We are very lucky to have their videos and kindness in our lives. Thank you both for sharing with us all. 🎄 🎅 🧑‍🎄 ❤

I have to say that you are totally amazing Becky! And Josh, you are a wonderful husband! I’m so happy I found you! I adore Becky’s family and I really like Josh’s mom! I don’t think I’ve met his Dad! I think you’re doing the right thing keeping your little one from the camera’s but as a Grammie of 5, I’d love to see him! Y’all make this old Virginia woman proud that there are good people living off the land, preserving what you harvest and making it better for future generations! God bless you! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! ❤❤❤

Don’t push yourself because of the holidays. Taking breaks and allowing yourself time to rest is the best way to heal. Thanks for your videos. You make me hungry and inspire me to try new recipes.

As I watch you shape your pastry it reminded me that recently I wore my smart watch when I did a day of meal prep and cooking from scratch is a GREAT calorie burn. I never really thought of it as a work out or exercise but now I love knowing it. I feel like I’m achieving two tasks at once.

I am so bummed I missed the live! But I watched shortly after and it was - as usual - just great! I love when Josh participates. The eggnog recipe looks great and I just may try it. Thank you so much! I hope your holidays are happy and wonderful.

I left Canada 30 years ago and I still miss store bought eggnog. As a child, my mum used to make eggnog for us children, then I made it when my kids were young, so when I tried store bought, wow, it was wonderful, thick and creamy. Nothing like that in England. When my first child was born in the 60s, my grandmother showed me to add a raw egg into her bottle of milk. She thrived as she was 4lbs when she was born. I can hear concern in Josh's voice about raw egg. The most important thing is to break the egg in a bowl, and then if it has a glutinous yukky bit attached, just cut it off and try and catch it! HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AT ACRE HOMESTEAD🎄🎄🎄

Becky I just want to tell you Merry Christmas, and thank you for being you. You've inspired me to cook more than the simple basics, and I'm baking this year for the first time since my grandma passed 12 years ago. Hungarian nut and poppyseed rolls, and kiffles. Just thank you for being an inspiration to this caregiver.

For 20+ years I worked at a classic European bakery. We made lots of products with almond paste and marzipan, but not Banket. I enjoyed the LIVE with you and Josh. Happy Holidays.

Yes, cashews, walnuts, pecans, etc are the seeds. Plant you one and you’ll get a tree. My neighbor has a pecan tree and the squirrels plant them in my flower pots. I’m constantly pulling tiny pecan trees out of my pots. They still have the pecan attached to the root.

I love your videos. I am always amazed at how much you accomplish in a few hours.
I think we all feel the push this year with a late Thanksgiving, causing a quick Christmas.
