I have found if you really want a loving relationship with someone down the road- It’s best to tell someone you are taking space and then go no contact.

Just ignoring them can cause anger, resentment or other damage to get your attention if they are reaching out. And if you really want them back in your life, it could ruin chances later in the future to ghost someone.

Definitely am a BIG SUPPORTER of constructive feedback in relationships, so No Contact usually follows an argument, fight, or disagreement.

Before putting faith in no contact, or any other strategy, you need to understand the situation. If she left you or said she needs time to think because you did something, have changed in some way, haven't kept promises etc., then you can win her back, because her feelings, interest and attraction are still there, they're just damaged.

But if she's left you because she met someone else...there is no getting her back. The moment she got butterflies for him, she lost all interest, attraction and feelings she had for you. And there's just no coming back from that.

In my instance i had to tell her ill be leaving her alone and that I had finally accepted her decision, after i two months of trying to "fix" things and noticed I was just making things worse. Told her if she ever needs me, I'll be there. But until then, take care. Its been hard because I feel i caused the break up. Working too much, not spending enough time together. I fumbled a really good woman. Took her for granted
