EDUCATION:

Risk disclosure
Futures, foreign currency and options trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing one’s financial security or lifestyle. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

CFTC Rules 4.41 - Hypothetical or Simulated performance results have certain limitations, unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under-or-over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown.

Went through this today. Was so set on a bullish daily bias that I completely ignored the signs of a sell.
Lesson of the day:
When your mind is set on one thing only, you will convince yourself that you see what you seek

This is why when we find a good or develop a good strategy, we create the rules of it that we learn through using it, so every loss comes with a great profit too, and that profit is the lesson you learn that will benefit you greatly long-term

This is about the hierarchy of interest. Words hold more inherent value than do colors, which explains the preference. He is cheating to make his point.

Deciding to interpret data according to a different hierarchy takes discipline. I'm with him.

Excellent presentation of how Traders think sometimes when analyzing charts. Been doing that for like almost 2 years and just starting to get it.

Bad example, the word literally says Red, he didn't say what color was the word? He said first thing that comes to mind, obviously if the word is "red" you're gonna think red, unless you're told to look for the color of the font. Maybe be more clear. Stuff like this isn't gonna help trading.

He said to say out the first thought that came into our mind, not give correct answers. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Total BS. The only way to make money in the markets is to "sell shovels to gold diggers"
