I remember riding in the car with my grandfather to the hospital to see my grandmother. She was dying from cancer. This song can on. I looked at my grandfather and tears were rolling down his face. It touched me DEEPLY! She was his sunshine!!

I reminisce about this music when I was knee high to a grass hopper. Suddenly, I realize I was listening to this in 1972-1973. It's a double edge sword when I'm surrounded by people who are half that age.

As a young GI stationed in Germany i play this song to death and cryed along with it, and now i'm 67 yrs old and married seven and a half years ago. This song is my wife favorite song cause i sing it to her all the time and i have listened to it every day every since I met her.
