More than 7 in 10 women in the UK have experienced some form of sexual harassment in public.
Let’s change the story.
We’re calling on men and boys across Greater Manchester to recognise behaviour that’s not OK and help make our city-region a safer place for all.

#IsThisOK

The Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Greater Manchester are releasing a dramatised video series as part of their campaign to tackle sexual harassment and gender-based violence of women and girls by challenging the behaviours of men and boys and encouraging them to see it is time to change the story.

I don't know about the UK, but in my experience the line between being friendly and annoying goes somewhere where it begins to be rude.

We thank those who contribute to reducing harassment so that women find safety, Islam has given them a safety umbrella as it has commanded chastity and punished those who mistreat her verbally،physically

Answer: NO this is NOT okay.
What really is mind boggling is that in 2023 SH should be on the decrease instead of the opposite.
We live in a time of Tinder, OF and easily accessible hookup culture, plus all cities has local services (girls in your area) and massage parlours, so why does a random chick on the street need to be harassed is beyond me.
It’s seriously getting weirder by the day, a little back story:
I was in a 24 hour off license (on a weekday) around 11pm, all areas have this kinda shop especially now because of major cities becoming overcrowded etc, so doesn’t matter what time you go it’s always busy.
These shops have narrow aisles and if you’re looking for something particular, it’s going to take you some time to find it as you go round the shop (unless you ask, I don’t like talking to strangers so I don’t ask)
So as I was searching in one of these aisles this guy came into the aisle and just stood behind me pretending to be looking for something (I am writing pretending because he did not move from there and did not ask anyone anything) I still couldn’t find the item I was searching for as I left that aisle and came back to it to recheck just in case I missed it. So I came back and he was still there in the same place just looking and mumbling to himself (hands in his pockets too) I asked him if he worked there and he just nodded his head like I was talking in a foreign language 🥴 so I went to go find someone that did, as I walked through the other aisles he was following and whistling while walking funny in between, I found the worker and asked for the item and he took me to that same aisle where that guy was there again, so I just asked the worker if this guy worked there and he said no and we both looked at him and the worker asked if he was okay? Meaning can I help you, he done that noddy thing with his head again. After getting other items (2-3mins) later I came out of the shop and that same guy came out the shop straight after me and started following doing the same thing (whistling, hands in pockets) this time making funny gestures with his eyes 😑 and uttering (baby, come)
I had enough of this weird behaviour so I went the opposite direction and I saw he then bolted into one of them side streets looking back every second.
I seriously don’t know what is wrong with some of there humans on our planet, like stay home and watch them videos on R3dtube or something 😤
