Corrupted Ashbringer probably goes on that list for most DKs, as well as Shadowmourne. While not exclusive to DK, they are very DK themed (even if Ashbringer was never available to DKs until Account-wide transmog)

To me the skirt and hood that death knights start with just looked ominous and cool. So that was my go to transmog when I played a death knight.

the ICC sets were created in image of the Lich King armor, you can really see it when you compare shoulders and helmet with Arthas himself. No wonder its desired, its a badass set. But Mograine still looks better in Ulduar armor imo.

Risen Nightmare is the best DK set in the game, and I cannot be convinced otherwise at the moment.

I really want the old artifact appearances. The ones for Apocalypse and Maw of the Damned are just so cool. I love the frost ones too, but I dont dual wield.

For #2, the other sets are actually remakes of Black Temple armor. Sunwell was technically T6, but it had different armor.

The yellow ICC set is one of the most desired set, yet unobtainable.
Its the one deathbringer saurfang wears, in ICC itself.

the Ulduar tier set for dk’s went so hard, suprised it wasn’t on this list

Note on the tier 10 sets, the 25 man version is also gained from 10 man heroic, so if you didn't have a group to run 25s, you could still do 10 man heroic and get basically the 2nd best versions of the gear. - It also made it easier to get that middle version because you could get separate lock-outs for 10 and 25 man, so you could run 10man on heroic and then pug a 25 man if your guild didn't have the numbers.

I'm glad I have most of these, but yeah I'm really fucking mad we can't get those Artifact skins; "Go back in time." should never be the only way to get a cosmetic in a video game.

How the Warrior T3 Dreadnought set is not on this list is almost criminal.
It is the DK set before DK's were playable. Inspired by the 2nd generation Death Knights from Naxx. Its not class restricted.

There is a badass set in Naxx that is the original DK questline armor. With gold trim. You can see it on some npc DK's in the Acherus in The Broken Isles. Always loved that set. And the Brutal Gladiator set from BC is another fav of mine.
