The color is nice. However, I think it was the application method the reason why it didn't pick up everywhere. You must take smaller sections.

Defo just use pink as your hair is effectively yellow it equals peach. Don't start at the front unless your cool with it being pinker there. You have your damage at the front than top back +more visibility+ less thick hair so it often ends up more saturated when you self colour.

smaller sections on dry hair wrap it in some plastic wrap or a grocery bag let it sit for 30-45 minutes and wash out with cool-luke warm water

it needs to be SATURATED in dye and leave it in longer if your hair is already yellowish- a deeper pink color that will fade after a few washes will look much better

Why dye wet hair when you test stranded on dry? Its better to dye on dry hair anyway.

Dont ever dye in the shower. Your best bet is to do it on dry hair that was washed the day before so you dont suffocate your hair and so the dye actually sticks to it. The dye wont hold on wet hair which is whh you didn't see much results. You can deposit colour that way after its dyed, to maintain the colour longer, but you never want to do the inital dye that way or it wont pigment very well.

Licensed cosmo here. Your hair is porous from the bleaching, you need to add some protein . Try adding some liquid protein filler to your dye( easily found at sallys, or amazon) the high porosity is what makes it so patchy, some parts of your hair are like a wet sponge, it might absorb some color but its going to come right back out. The protein fills the holes. Good luck

Your hair needed to be lighter. It needs a bleach and the color will grab onto your hair. Also, dye it twice for vibrancy and staying power!!

You said the colour in the bowl was exactly what you wanted. That's the problem. Your original hair was still slightly too dark and the colour in the bowl was too light and not pigmented. When dying hair you need to make sure the dye looks much more brighter and stronger because it'll never transform as pigmented into the hair. Also the application method wasn't great.

It's not pigmented enough. Your blond hair is not even and for this the idea of peach only picked up at the slightest strands.
