Double Dragon & Kunio-Kun Collection Brings Retro NES/Famicom Classics to Nintendo Switch (Review)

Okay so the official title of this game is DOUBLE DRAGON & Kunio-kun Retro Brawler Collection. There. I said it. It's coming out on Nintendo Switch on February 20, 2020. Right now it's digital only, but it's 2020 on the Switch so like, odds are one of many companies making physical Switch releases will try to make this come out in English on a cart.

Anyway, this has 18 games. Here's the list:

Lastly, I'm totally aware there's a point where I say there is no difference between the Japanese versions and the English versions to the naked eye when I literally show the Japanese version of River City Ransom looking completely different from the same sequence in the English version. Regardless, it's basically the same game.

I love Kunio-kun series, those sports games are phenomenal. I had a blast playing them in japanese, now I'll finally be able to read what is going on.

WTF?! Why aren't the original arcade games of double dragon included?! That would have been an instant buy for me. Damn you tecmos! We need all of the games. You are trying to get fans of your games to buy these again with improvements & we want to but give us more incentive! I have all of these. MAKE IT WORTH IT! WE NEED ARCADE VERSIONS TOO ON THE CARTRIDGE!
