This really hit home for me with a number of feelings I'm struggling with at the moment. Suffocation, feeling trapped in your own self loathing, conflict about burdening another person, and the guilt that comes with that. I am glad I heard this today, it helped me feel less alone in myself.

I have never gotten chills like this from a song before. The atmospheric intro and verse... the vocal melody, which is honestly quite haunting in the verse when pitted with the atmospheric instrumental... those SCREAMS in the pre-chorus, which caught me off guard... and then another unexpected turn into synthwave for the chorus. I love everything about this song. Essenger has just found himself a new fan lol.
