Circuit-based Neuromodulation: From Causal to Clinical Models

The use of imaging measures combined with different non-invasive neuromodulation provides direct evidence of causal relationships between brain circuits and behaviour. This talk will summarise previous accounts on cognitive control and decision-making studies using TMS, tDCS and tSMS combined with neuroimaging experiments. Following this, Dr Ignacio Obeso will then describe a circuit-based route, where neuromodulation use can change pathological circuits and modify clinical conditions.
