Swaying Trees in The Wind, Rumbling Leaves, Relaxing Wind

Strong wind gusts blowing after the rain storm passed by, swaying the trees. This kind of wind gusts are not usual during the summer in these forests, but this year it happened a few times. For me the wind sound from the distance is very relaxing and sounds almost like ocean waves, but when you're in the middle of the forest and the trees are bending above your head it's quite scary.

Brings back fond memories of the farm I grew up on and those windy, rainy days sitting in the barn with the doors open and just watching the trees blowing and shaking in the wind. I sure do miss those days, was very calming for me. Loved it!

this is actually soothing, and yes, it calms the nerves. hearing the gusts of wind, and trees swaying somehow gives me a sense of nostalgia. it would be nice to take a nap under those trees, but only after the threat of storm has passed.

Finally! Found a channel that offers just the sound of wind! I can just lay here and imagine the wind is blowing on my face, through my hair, on my body. My favourite sounds! This sound reminds me of one my favorite Lake District Youth Hostels in the UK - Borrowdale. I have taken my sons there many times. It stands in a wooded area at the end of a valley, by a river. It's often windy there and this sound is wonderfully evocative - both invigorating and calming at the same time.

This was just what I was looking for, realistic nature sounds other than rain. I love rain, but so many times it's just a loop and so constant in it's sound that it becomes annoying to me. This recording has a natural ebb and flow and I love that.
