Who is Marvel's Chasm? Morally Compromised, Psionic Spider-Man

This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the Marvel Comics character named "Chasm." From Ben Reilly being recruited to the shady Beyond Corporation as their own privatized Spider-Man, learning the truth about his employer after getting a secret hard drive from Doctor Otto Octavius that held dark company secrets, losing the memories of his genetic template Peter Parker and later being fooled into thinking Peter was his enemy, a battle with Spidey resulting in his exposure to Beyond Corp's strange psycho-reactive goo, his superhuman mutate powers evolving to allow his Spider-sense to psionically and automatically counteract any imminent threat as well as fashion usable objects from his web-shooters, allying with Madelyne Pryor aka the Goblin Queen after making a device to visit the Limbo realm, to being given the Queen's Scythe of Sorrows by his beloved Hallow's Eve and temporarily becoming the massively powerful being known as King Chasm; Let's take a look at this new iteration of a fan-favorite Marvel anti-hero, and one of the most uniquely powered versions of Spider-Man's clone. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic book and science fiction characters.

I hope he becomes the Scarlet Spider again. Maybe with some of the Chasm powers? He's such a cool character with a life that was a lie a billion times! He has a soul because he was killed and resurrected 30+ times and went insane for awhile. Also, nuts now.

Seeing Ben Reilly feeling miserable and distraught makes me understand how difficult it is for him to regain the memories he acquired from Peter Parker. Chasm is basically the "Red Hood" of Marvel because He's Spider-Man's greatest failure and mistake.

Chasm has one of the best Spiderman-inspired designs and I've always loved the Scarlet Spider's personality in contrast to Peter Parker's, both Ben Reilly and Kaine brought their own unique twists. I hope he becomes a mainstay and maybe more of an antihero than a villain, since that design and his abilities are really amazing.

so Ben has a spider-sense that's more suited for offense and counterattacking and Kaine has a spider-sense that's even more precognitive and actually allows him to see into the future although this sometimes confuses him
