These look delicious and will try once we’ve decided to fail on our resolutions

I bought this when I saw it during your best of January list. Wanted something sweeter to pair with a not-too-sweet cake I baked for my mom's bday. I made my own chocolate ganache to go on top after seeing how little you got in that packet. Everyone loved these! Thanks for the video.

I would buy the Hershey frosting in the container like the cake icing to put on them

You could also refrigerate the peanut butter mix first and then spread the soft chocolate on once the base is hard.

Looks delicious! I wonder if it would be better chilling the pb mixture first, then spreading the frosting after that?

Those remind me of the peanut butter and chocolate squares they used to serve in school.

I usually put my chocolate bag in warm water and it’s super easy then

I never ever buy any mixes. I always just buy the finished product. But this looks so good and so easy to make that I think I will buy a box and try it out! Thank you for this review!

I follow the directions except I refrigerate the peanut butter before I put the chocolate on.

I would put the chocolate bag in a bowl of warm water so it will be easier to spread, then cut a corner and drizzle over base

The spreading of the chocolate would frustrate me too no end, trying to keep the layers from mixing. These sound and look good. Thanks for the review.

Oh wow how wonderful. The bad thing I could eat the whole pan in a couple days if calories weren’t an issue. Great review

Oh yummy! Definitely going on my T/K list to buy. I agree that an 8x8 pan would give us the layer we would love, yum.
Thank you for making these and for an awesome review.
Enjoy your treats and a sweet day.😊😊

Thanks for the vid from the two'ayouts; I would have totally skipped over the parchment paper.

Also, you're right; they kind of did go skimpy on the chocolate topping; next supply run to town; will add a can of Betty Crocker Chocolate frosting, ( who knows, that is what they may have after to scale product movement ).

So, I fixed up the chocolate frosting, like we did in the military for the MRE pound cakes; with a big Swoop of Nestle Rich Milk Chocolate cocoa powder and a few drops of vanilla coconut milk; could have used butter / peanut oil; but figured a whole stick of butter was asking for enough of heart attack already.

I only had a 6" x 8" plastic container with a locking lid.

So, I quickly snatched up a 6x muffin pan that suspiciously had nothing better to do at the time; then lined it with paper liners and threw the "extree" mix combo in there and made what looked just like some Super Sized Reese's Cups.

However, just before I did; and when I was certain no one was looking; I added four finger taps from the ground cinnamon can in the peanut butter mix, ( foray, so there is just a hint of cinnamon flavor; don't tell anyone, it's more fun to see if anyone even noticed ).

If you ever had sliced apples with brown sugar & cinnamon; or sliced apples and peanut butter; the combination is a really very good winner.

At any rate; since cinnamon is very good for you; you now can play it off as a healthy snack .. but not really.

Peace

Addendum: I was looking around to see if anyone tried adding 1Tbs or three of JIF creamy peanut butter in the base mix; and no joy so far; if it takes away from being solid; all over the Internet it says to add powdered sugar.

I've seen these at Walmart quite a bit, but never realized it was N0-Bake. I am definitely going to pick this up. I may not top with chocolate, but I have a Peanut Butter frosting I might use, or just leave them plain. OOO..I'll melt some white chocolate chips and spread that on top and make White Chocolate Reese's bars. I'm going to have to buy 4 or 5 boxes. For experimentation, of course😁

I wonder if this is the same no-bake bar mix my mom used to get for us growing up. Maybe it’s just had a bit of a “glow up”. We were obsessed with them.
