The confirmation hearing for Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett resumes Tuesday, led by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

While Monday's hearing consisted of opening remarks, things are expected to heat up on Tuesday. Senators will question Barrett on her career and her position on issues that could come before the court, including health care, guns, abortion and religion. Each senator will have about 20 minutes to question Barrett. The hearings – tasked with vetting Barrett’s background and stance on issues that could come before the high court – could be key for a number of senators before the November election.

Who's watching in 2024? As a lawmaker, I admire this spectacle of a show. Justice Amy Coney Barrett is awesome! ❤ I loved Scalia, the originalist par excellence. Justice Amy Coney Barrett is my new originalist idol just like Justice ⚖️ Thomas.

2. Justice Amy Coney Barrett knows much more than the 6k rules of law! RBG is smiling down at her from heaven. ❤ The heir apparent was tap dancing around our beloved gentleman from South Carolina. This is like watching the Superbowl of Jurisprudence! No commercials!

3. Don't liberals cringe when listening to a description of what a baby has to go through during an abortion process? Omg.

4. Senator Feinstein wasn't in her prime anymore. RIP. I'm Asian American. I didn’t appreciate her hiring a Chinese citizen nor did I like using Dr. Ford to tarnish Brett Kavanaugh. 😢 Feinstein's feeble attempts on the 2nd Amendment and Roe v. Wade? Embarrassing for her. Justice Barrett was hitting home run after home run! Especially with her ACA answers!
