I'm a vet student and halfway through a cardiology course, and had a bit of a startle when I heard this on myself thinking it was an s3 gallop lmao

I like the audio of the split S2 for a fixed split but it would be nice to hear the normal, wide, and paradoxical splits as well rather than just a description of them.

I've always had heart problems as far as my heart murmur but my doctor finally told me what was making my heart sound abnormal.

Hi thanks for this great vid! Is there any way of clinically differentiating between fixed widely split S2 (like in ASD) and a paradoxical split S2 (PDA)? Is there any difference in their sounds?
