Board Meeting - January 10, 2023

Watch the Charles County Board of Education's January 10, 2023 meeting. This was the first meeting for the XVIII Board of Education and member elected Michael Lukas to serve as chairperson and Yonelle Moore Lee as vice chairperson. The meeting featured reports on the superintendent's 2024 proposed operating budget along with updates on capital improvement projects and the Blueprint for Maryland's Future. The board recognized students and staff from North point High School, Mattawoman Middle School and Walter J. Mitchell and Mary B. Neal elementary schools as well as students selected for the Maryland General Assembly State Page program and the 4A-3A state champion football team from North Point High School.
