When I was first getting into Dr. Doom, I got Stan’s message immediately. Doom represents that undying thirst all humans have for the world to be a better place. Doom is the twisted mirror of our own hopes and dreams, the literal physical embodiment of our traumas and undying will to create a vision of our own utopia. Victor was a victim of cruelty and lost himself to the fear and hatred of the world, so inevitably, like the world does to us most unfortunate, the world created Doom.
