I have noticed the great misunderstandings in history and various religions through the fault of this process we humans call "lost in translation". I am yoruba from yoruba tribe of Nigeria, our belief on creation is that the son of Olodumare(God) came descended from heaven with sand and a bird, he then poured the sand over the sea and the bird used its wing and feet to spread the sand over to make land. sounds funny but i think it was based on lack of understanding of the technology. so he/she used the creatures they knew to describe the technology they saw in a vision.

The act of seeing vision of the past is called ejoko ifa. it is a ceremonial way of calling our ancient ancestors to explain to us things of the past

I think as students of the bible growing up, we were somehow taught to not ask questions when the text was confusing. I always accepted that someone needed to translate the meanings for me. It was never about learning to ask the RIGHT questions...it was about just accepting it as blind truth, not asking questions.

i truly believe that the creator of life, God....do not seek worship. this is a being supposedly the most powerful being ever, and the embodiment of love. this does not compute to a narcissistic, egotystical being....those who say God demands worship, are using fear tactics to control the masses
