I don’t know how I feel about this kata? It feels “sportified” movements are short. Jumps where there should be no jumps. It feels like a show performance not like a grading performance kata. I don’t feel like he is fighting anyone here. I feel like he is showing speed and strength. That’s what I took away from this kata after watching it. Joh that was fast and strong. Not, wow that was powerful. I prefer bigger slower more powerful movements not fast quick small movements.uchi uke has almost no windups “preparation” here. There is a reason for that preparation.
