I saw some midi questions recently so I decided to make a video showing how to sequence external gear using the Arturia Keystep. Apologies for the inconsistent audio on this one.

Do we know if this works with the latest OPZ firmware. I did a factory reset on OPZ, and only updated the firmware to latest. Slowly carbon-copied your walkthrough (even mimic'd your config file although not mentioned). Keystep has both switches "up" for midi.
No dice. When I set to Track 6, I hear the audio coming out of the OPZ? Any ideas?

I was thinking of buying an Oplab module but in my country is the same price as the Keystep which is much more versatile on my opinion. I want Ableton to send midi clock to the OpZ via the Keystep is that possible? I want to sync Ableton > Keystep > OP-Z > Hardware synths like a Mother 32, Microkorg or Roland Tr8. I think I would need to use both midi connections and the usb but I'm not sure if that works. Thanks for sharing this video!

Nice! Is it possible to have step components sequencing external gear this way?

This is sick. Can you explain “you can send tracks 8-15 midi out but you will not be able to use step components” further please?!
Does this mean it will send midi notes out of these channels that are programmed in the sequence?
