So let me tell you about that place. In the 1970's, I went to the grade school across the freeway from what was then Motts Burgers. My dad used to pick me up from school with a sack of those burgers and we'd go down to Riverside Park near the Ambassador Bridge. There's the only mail boat with it's own zip code - the Prescott that would take mail out to passing freighters. One of my favorite memories with my dad. Nice to see you got to enjoy that place with your dad too.

Shirley here I grew up in Detroit in the through the 50's 70's. We had a Motts on Schaffer and West Chicago and they where good and so was the chili. We would go there as a treat almost once a week. They had one called Dandys. Now they have a place called Tel ways on John R and 11 mile. They been there for years I think the first one is on Michigan in Detroit.

I used to live here and been to all the spots. The best places are the smallest. Lafayette Coney dogs. Also hears the scoop all the bangers. There is sa place called fish bone.. hella good. I dont miss the winters tho
