Joe Bonamassa - Mountain Time - at the Royal Albert Hall, April 26, 2019

The last of three encores that night at the Royal Albert Hall, the last of the three-night stint. And what a showstopper!

Shot in 4k standing right next to the stage holding a Panasonic TZ-101 on a minitripod, crop and panning applied at the very start, otherwise straight from the camera, not stabilized. (Will most likely stabilize parts of the close-ups of the face for the final full concert file, though.) At the very end, before the bowing out, I used Andrew Cowan's footage (here hd, later to be replaced with his 4k original) to fill out a gap in my footage (I had to pause filming due to the 15 min max of continuous recording the camera allows 4k footage).

The audio was recorded with a Zoom H1 + Soundman OKM II mics, 96kHz 24-bit (here 512kbps), video uploaded as 21mbps, probably heavily compressed here.

This is one of my all-time Bonamassa favorites and the fact that he spent a good while posing for my camera, well, how cool is that??

Joe, besides being a really good guitarist is also a very talented artist. This is a different version of this song then the last one I heard and they all have a tendency towards taste and professionalism that I find admirable. In other words Joe seems to be a real artist painting musical pictures as he goes along some of which are true masterpieces.I am glad I had an opportunity to hear.

Joe's sense of touch, his ability to sing his notes, to play so softly when you've got so much power behind you, these are all very difficult things to do, let alone to master them. Anton once again keeps the master volume right in there too, what a great group of players and it looks they were down two personnel that night also (one horn and one vocalist). Another amazing performance by Guitar Man!

So happy to have been there on the night. A truly amazing gig. Probably the best version of Mountain time I've heard although I wish he had played India as the intro.

Beautiful everything... I must admit to being starstruck by the extremely famous guitar he is playing here. 1951 Fender Nocaster... No guilt special.

Not as good as the 2009 appearance, but still love you Joe
